Karl Griesbaum, Triberg, Germany, whistling gentleman, spring driven brass movement powering bellows, slide whistle, and turning head motion, enclosed in hand carved wooden figure depicting a man wearing an bowler hat and bow tie with his hands in his pockets as he whistles a tune.
CONDITION:
the carved wood figure is in good condition. The movement starts when the switch on the back is depressed. The cam follower for the head movement will need to be adjusted. Movement is oily. Bellows will need to be restored. Movement is signed behind the bellows.
